Hypnotherapy Simply Explained

Posted on November 2, 2016 by Robin Posted in News, self help, tips, Weight Loss .

There are times in social situations where I am asked to explain what I do and I struggle to put it into words that make it easy to understand while not being to long winded while offering up an explanation.  Quite often those asking seem skeptical so I feel the pressure of the moment, trying to explain it so it makes sense.  I offer the following in the hopes that a simple explanation might encourage someone to understand and seek Hypnotherapy to improve their lives.

Imagine your subconscious mind as a vast library containing all of the knowledge and beliefs you have accumulated since the beginning of you.  All the information stored here is ruled over by your your conscious mind or, your librarian.  Your library is so massive that it is impossible for you to be aware of all of the information stored there so you rely quite heavily on your Librarian to decide what information you will allow into your library or what information to access in order to deal with each and every situation that arises in your life.  Situations as mundane as what and how much to eat, driving a vehicle, attracting love or success and even heart break and stress.  Depending on this Librarian to retrieve the correct information when you need it or to allow the entry of updated information in order to make positive changes in your life can be a challenge.  We can run into some pretty big problems when our Librarians don’t retrieve the correct info or don’t allow the submission of new updated info.

In Hypnosis we encourage your Librarian to take a nap.  Then, while she’s resting, we access the information you require to make any changes you want to or need to make.  If the information is outdated, we update it, if it’s wrong, we correct it.  Not having to run everything past your Librarian makes it so much easier to improve anything in your life that isn’t working for you. When the librarian wakes up, she gets right back to work as if nothing happened but you know something has changed, you’ll be able to feel it.  And it feels wonderful!

Positive Changes Like:

  • Achieving Financial or Career Success
  • Ridding oneself of Anxiety
  • Healing Depression
  • Healthier Relationships/Finding Love
  • Anger Release/Forgiveness
  • Release from crippling phobias
  • Increased Motivation
  • Increased Appreciation of Day to Day Life
  • Ridding oneself of Negative Habits

And so on…
