Workshops and Group Sessions 2017
I limit the attendance of my workshops and group sessions to just a handful of people in order to replicate the one on one experience as best I can. Unlike traditional group therapy sessions, no one needs to share anything personal, in fact you don’t need to talk at all unless you have questions you are comfortable asking. A group session is an excellent way to experience the powerful benefits of Hypnotherapy prior to making the investment of one on one sessions as well as an effective way to utilize Hypnotherapy in making powerful, positive changes in your life. All Workshops and Group sessions run approximately 2 hours.
The fee for workshops and group sessions is just $50.00 per person, pre-payment is required for registration.
Because sleep deprivation takes such a heavy toll, both physically and emotionally it can increase your risk of depression, alcoholism, and other health problems. Hypnotherapy can help you regain control of your mind and sleep patterns. This session will train your brain to sleep when it’s time and to stay asleep for as long as you want to or need to.
Meditation/Self Hypnosis: June 10th 2017
As a Certified Meditation Instructor I will teach you an amazing meditation “hack” to help make meditation easier and more effective. You’ll learn the positive impact meditation has on your physical brain and overall well being. This workshop will help you to make meditation a priority and give you a daily practice. I will guide you through two relaxing guided meditations in order to demonstrate this technique.
The focus on the 2nd will be to teach you the skill of self-hypnosis. Self-hypnosis is a very powerful tool that will help you in any area of your life. This technique is used to improve sports performance, reduce stress, increase concentration and improve memory (just to name a few applications. Self-hypnosis quickly calms and quiets the mind and helps you to connect to your authentic self. During a self-hypnosis session you are connected completely to your subconscious and this can help you to make any changes you need in order to improve your life.
Anxiety 2 Calm: June 24th 2017
This workshop/group session will utilize Hypnotherapy, Sound Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Guided Meditation to help you control, reduce and even eliminate anxiety and anxiety related disorders. You should feel immediate relief and you’ll go home with new tools to help you live the happy, content life you were meant to live.
Intuition & Self Discovery: TBA
Albert Einstein once said that our intuition is our most valuable asset, and one of our most unused senses. He described it as “a feeling for the order lying behind the appearance of something.” Sometimes it is referred to as gut feeling, sixth sense, innate wisdom, inner sense, instinct, inner voice, or spiritual guide.
To familiarize yourself with and develop your intuition you must access the center of your being, your true, authentic self. During this 2-hour workshop, you will go deep within to receive messages from your subconscious mind, strengthen your intuition, and discover your “aha” moment. Through sound therapy, guided visualization and meditation, spend the afternoon deepening your self-awareness and attending to your soul.
Silencing Mind Chatter: TBA
All of my clients that come to see me for Anxiety have one thing in common: mind chatter. Zen Buddhists refer to the constant chatter of the mind as monkey mind.
The Buddha held that the human mind is filled with drunken monkeys flinging themselves from tree branches, jumping around, and chattering nonstop. He meant that our minds are in constant motion. As a result of this monkey mind, it’s nearly impossible to slow down and enjoy the present. In addition, all that negativity affects our mood—making us unhappy, angry, restless, and anxious; it hampers our ability to concentrate; it has a negative impact on our behavior; and it interferes with our ability to have positive interactions with others.
In this group session I’ll show you how to shut up those monkeys and give you back the control you once had over your thoughts. This is such an important tool to have in life because we truly feel what we think. Once you’ve learned it, you will not forget it.
